Welcome to "Colloidal Silver How-To"
Below, find some of our most-asked questions, notes about shipping/handling, contact info, etc. Fall & Winter Colloidal Silver tip! Here's a tip for Fall and Winter colloidal silver use... I use a nasal mister through the cold weather months, filled with my own colloidal silver. I discovered that whenever my sinuses are stuffy, the possibility of a cold or flu is nearby. But you say, "My sinuses are always stuffy!" I know what you mean! I don't become ill through the winter months often... especially now that I make my own colloidal silver... but I discovered that whenever I did become ill, it seemed that the very first indicator was stuffy sinus. So, I began to use a nasal mister once a day, sometimes twice a day, and here's what I noticed:
1. No more sinus headaches.
When I feel sinus pressure, I use the mister. It stops sinus
headaches in their tracks.
We have a limited quantity of 20ml misters available for only $5.95. They are amber colored glass, and have held up for me for over a year now and counting. I urge you to keep a mister close by, filled with your own colloidal silver! Here's to your health!

Yes. We

We discovered, along with some other Colloidal Silver Generator
producers that "agitating the water" is invaluable to the Colloidal
Silver production process. In fact, learning of the value of
agitating the water was the final chapter in developing a very
stable, high quality Colloidal Silver product. Why
do you use only 9-volt and 12-volt systems? How much colloidal silver do I make at a time? For personal use, I usually make one pint jar at a time. This quantity will normally last me up to 2 weeks if I am taking 1 to 2 Tbsp. per day as a mineral supplement. If I am requiring more, or if I am making enough to give away to family or friends, I will move to the quart jar. Which charger do I use (battery-powered or 12-volt plug-in charger)? I use the 12-volt DC electric charger (see farther down page) most often. I use the battery-powered device when an electrical plug is either not available, or I don't want to string an electrical extension cord across a room. The battery-operated devices work well when traveling by car. When traveling by plane, I take the 12-volt electric charger in my suitcase and store it with my other chargers (phone, camera, etc.) In terms of simplicity, I use the 12-volt charger primarily. The value of the battery-powered generator is if you have lost electricity as the result of a power outage, if you live off the grid or on a boat or in a motor home, or if you are on the road a lot, you can take this one with you anywhere. How long does it take me to make colloidal silver? I use the pint jar most often. I use the 12-volt generator mostly, along with two 6" silver rods (also see below). Because the pint jar is more shallow than the quart jar, I curl the silver rods (they are .9999 pure, so they are soft and pliable) into a J-Shape. I check the water every 30 minutes with a pen laser, and find most often that the silver is ready in 1 to 2 hours. If I am using a quart jar, I usually have 8ppm colloidal silver in 4 to 5 hours, using an air pump agitator, and running 12V DC through the water. So what is all the hype about "agitating the water" during Colloidal Silver production? Actually, it's not hype. It's true. And it's amazing. Your final product will be greatly enhanced through simply agitating the water during Colloidal Silver production. I had read about it a lot online on other Colloidal Silver generator retail sites. One site will agitate the water for you, and provide low-voltage Colloidal Silver generation for you for only $400! You can do it a LOT cheaper here. Just use a simple aquarium air pump. Go with a smaller one because if it pumps too much air into the water, you'll get a lot of splashing. High air volume isn't necessary because all you're doing is keeping the water agitated. Here's what I found with my own use. I had been reading quite a bit about "agitating the water" to reduce macro-particles of silver solution, to better stabilize the final product after production, and most importantly to generate a higher colloidal content, and less ionic silver content (which is far more desirable). I had no idea how radically the end product would so positively change for the better! Whatever you do during colloidal silver production of your own, buy a pump. Agitate the water. It makes a huge difference in the quality of your end product. Yes, we offer pumps on this site, but this too is something you can find in lots of retail places. How do I know when the colloidal silver is ready? The more you make colloidal silver, the more you will get a "feel" for the level of ppm (parts per million) that you like best. For internal or topical use, you'll discover which solutions are the right intensity for you. Given that most people do not own a TDS meter ("Total Dissolved Solids"), we now make them available for purchase. At home, I also use a pen laser light shining through the jar during colloidal silver production (pen lasers are available as well). It is interesting to shine the light through the jar through the distilled water before beginning to make colloidal silver. You will see no beam. The water is pure. Within 20 or 30 minutes, shine the light through the water again. You will begin to see particles reflected in the beginning of a beam that you can see. You can also begin to see the "smoky" effect coming off one of the silver rods (if you are not agitating the water). These are the silver ions being generated. This smokiness is dissipating silver into the distilled water. And that is what we want. When after roughly an hour (for pint jars) and 1 to 2 hours for quart jars, when you see a solid beam of laser light through the width of the water in the jar, your silver is ready! Additional Notes
