Greetings!
As a student of the Course In
Miracles, I found myself wanting to carry the Daily Lesson title with me
during the course of my day.
I already owned a set of the
larger, approximately 3 x 5 Lesson Cards, which provide the entire lesson
for the day. I found, however, that the cards were too large to
carry with me in my shirt pocket while at work, or in my wallet. And
on occasions I actually lost my card while trying to keep it with me
during the course of the day.
I also found that in most cases, all I
really needed with me was the Lesson title to prompt the application of
the Lesson during the practice periods throughout the day. During my prayer and meditation time in
the early morning, I had meditated and studied the Lesson. So as I
journeyed through my day, simply having the Lesson title was all I usually
required to focus my practice periods.
Does this sound
like your need as well?
 I already owned a small
custom-printing business (producing greeting cards and stationery
featuring the artwork of children), so I was set up to produce something
that would fill my own personal study needs. That's when I generated
the Daily Lesson titles in a smaller business card-sized format.
Additionally, on
virtually all the cards, there is adequate space to handwrite any practice
period phrases, which almost always incorporate the Daily Lesson title.
I also felt free to jot down awarenesses and associated thoughts on the
back of the cards that might come to mind during practice periods.
None of these freedoms were really available on the larger reprinted
Lesson Cards I had been using.
Description:
The 360 Workbook Title Cards
are printed on 110 lb. bright white matte card stock (similar to most
business cards), and come boxed with a vinyl business card holder.
The business card holder will easily hold 14 days of cards (7 on each
side). I simply move the current day's lesson to the front viewing
area so that I can reach into my pocket, or into my wallet, open the card
holder, and quickly be reminded of the day's Lesson when I have the
opportunity.

 Inspirational
Notes
Inspirational Notes, which
you record, are the impactful truths from your study of the "Text."
Record them on these cards to keep with you for inspiration all day long.
Like you, perhaps, I study first a
Daily Lesson from the Workbook for Students, and then move to the Text for
additional study and meditation.
During study of
the Text, do you experience times when a phrase or sentence virtually
jumps off the page and touches you so deeply that you want to
take it with you forever?
As powerfully as
the experience of the awareness is, if you are like me, a steady study of
the Text will reveal many, many such awarenesses. I began a system
of "stars" that I wrote in the margins of my text. The more stars
written in the margin next to a selection, the more powerful I experienced
it. However, over the weeks, I had begun to wish that I had recorded
them as I experienced and understood them, that I might take them with me
throughout the day, along with the Daily Lesson Title cards.
So, I generated an additional set of
cards. These cards were designed to provide me the opportunity to
record the most powerful understandings and experiences of my study of the
Text. They are very simple. Merely a line at the top, labeled
"Topic." On this line I write the topic of study where I experienced
this truth. Topics I use often include broad areas such as "The
Call,"
"Forgiveness," "Salvation," "My Brothers," "God,
My Father," "The Holy
Spirit," etc. At the end of the line is a blank to record the page number
of the text where the Inspirational Note can be reread in context.
Over time, I have found that the
arrangement of the cards is irrelevant, given the page number of the text
where the inspiration came from is included on the card. I have
begun to organize my Inspirational Notes according to topic. I can
easily review these powerful moments of study of the Text whenever I wish
to apply them to my life. It's almost as if I am generating my own
concordance of the Text! It's great, and not only does it chronicle
my personal study of the text, it is tailored only to the furthering of my
personal understanding of the Course and enhances my process of awakening.
p.s. I also use these cards to
record the most inspirational teachings in the "Workbook for Students."
They're ideal as records of your most powerful moments of understanding
throughout your study.

of the Course that it's a joyful experience to carry these truths with me,
knowing my 'truth packet' is at my fingertips anytime during the day.

The
"Sai Baba Jesus"
 You
may have never heard of the "Sai Baba Jesus." I was fortunate to see
this wonderful image of Jesus while attending a Course In Miracles study
group back in the early 1990's. At that time, I was given an address
to send $10, and a copy of the image was sent to me. I then framed
this wonderful image and have had it with me ever since.
I recently discovered that the image
has had all copyrights removed by the owners of the image, and now resides
within the public domain. What a wonderful wonderful blessing!
We can now go to the website
and click onto a pdf file that we can save to our computers, and print our
own copy of this wonderful image, along with the story of how this image
came about.
